| This approach was especially effective with the First Hawaiian Bank Center in Honolulu. At 430 feet, it is Hawaii’s tallest building. Before we could begin building up, we had to build down to ensure a strong and secure foundation for this landmark structure. Coupled with our expertise in deep excavation, we employed sophisticated and highly technical construction methods for the complex structural steel superstructure as well as the highly intricate detailing of the granite skin and glass façade.
