Feature Project TANGUISSAN POWER PLANT Tumon, Guam

Guam’s 50-megawatt Tanguisson Power Plant had all the challenges of remoteness, shipping materials, and a daunting schedule. Recognizing the island’s need to get Tanguisson producing power as quickly as possible, we developed a strong relationship among all the contractors and subcontractors so that we could work seamlessly. This brought the extraordinary benefits of coordinated scheduling, anticipating each of the trade’s needs, and planning sufficient lead times to procure materials peculiar to power plant construction and delivery to a remote area. The result surpassed our client’s expectations. Instead of taking the projected two years, Dick Pacific delivered the project in just 318 days.
