| The Dick Pacific team that constructed Gabrunas Hall at Pearl Harbor Naval Station delivered a quality project that surpassed the Navy’s goal of enhancing the “quality of life” for Navy personnel.
The two-building, 179-room bachelors enlisted quarters was won on a hard bid and our federal division went beyond the scope of the bid to provide a quality project. To ensure that the units would meet the Navy’s goal of providing excellent accommodations for its personnel, we took the initiative of developing a model unit to establish a quality standard for the project and to identify problems early. This approach not only enhanced quality, but saved time and money.
